Design

The idea behind the PIP Concept is to reduce the Industrial PC System integrators/users time and cost during installation and use of the product. These aspects have driven the design of the PIP product family. Other driving factors were 100% PC compatibility, its compactness which still leave hardly any option open, the long-term availability to insure your investment during development and last but not least the reasonable price of the products. The PIP Concept meets and even exceeds the listed points.

High Quality

That the industry requires quality products was clear for MPL before starting the de-sign of the PIP products as we supply the industry since many years. The special features and specification within the products only underline the top quality of the PIP family. Some examples of included quality proof features in the PIP Concept are the low power, the excellent EMI protection, the special designed aluminum housing, the single board concept ... All these quality aspects are based on more than 15 years of design and production experience in the industrial field.

To fulfill this the products need to be that flexible that the end-customer’s requests can be fulfilled quickly and cost-effective. The PIP Concept supports this important point and allows to make out of a standard product a customer specific product due to various expansion possibilities within the PIP Concept. Real Industrial Design

The PIP Concept gives a system integrator and user the feeling of a standard PC thus all the specialties of an industrial product are included or are available as options. Some of the key industrial features of the PIP are the wide operation temperature range, the extended temperature option, the wide DC input power range, compactness of the housing ... In case the PIP has to withstand shock and vibration in its application then this option is available as well. The robust aluminum housing the PIP product is built in has no openings nor requires fan for cooling due to its very special design. Several other specialties round the PIP Concept up and make it unique.
